So.....as the title says, my window washer on the rear window doesn't seem to work. When I twist the switch on the stalk, it sprays water on the front windscreen. The front spray also works normally when pulling the stalk forward. Any ideas? ![o_O]( "Er... what? o_O")

Alternatively, I have so far failed to find a Japanese club (there is the March Micra club but I have not found out how to contact). Does anyone have contact info?

Squealing! power steering idler pulley the problem, how to fix?
I have had this noise for quite a while and no it is not belt tension as numerous people have told me, at a recent MOT the guy showed me the idler pulley was not rotating hence the awful sound. It only happens on initial start up and then stops when normal driving.
I have lived with this, the original belt still looks fine but I would really like to fix it, 4 months from 20th birthday and just love my car!
I appreciate that I will have to slacken off the belt adjustment to start off with...

Jap import K11 belt sizes
Hi.
I've got a 1995 1.3 cvt auto Mitsuoka Viewt (K11 March) and I'm doing a full service on the car myself to save a bit of money.
The car has air con and power steering, but I don't seem to be able to locate the correct alternator and water pump belts.
My local dealer wants to ship them from Japan, which will take 3 to 4 weeks and motor factors say the UK Micra uses different belts.
Can anyone help with sizes, so I can finally get round to this part of the service

CGA3 NATS SWAP
I'm wanting to swap my coilpack cg10 engine for a cga3, only problems I can think I will have are the nats system and the ECU, will I need to swap the ECU? if so how will I go around the nats? If the ECU from my 1.0 will work that would be great. any general advice would be welcomed.

I would like to know whether it is ok to set up the correct handbrake adjustment on the K11 by:
1. Slackening off the handbrake adjustment screw until cables are fully slack.
2. Fully retracting handbrake operating lever inside each brake drum via a tool pushed through the grommeted hole in the backplate.
3. Pulling up handbrake one notch.
4. Manually adjusting the auto adjuster ratchets until each drum is almost on the point of binding when rotating.

Lowering and performance
Hi guys just bought a 1.4 k11 I'm looking to beat it up on track really I'm looking to do it as cheap as possible. What's the cheapest/best way to lower it? Read alot about the alto spring's and corsa b shock but I can't see it being very stiff are there any other springs that can be fitted? Also power I knowill it's meant to be "80bhp" but I'd like more it's it worth doing the 1.6 injectors throttle body and air box? Thanks for any replies guys

New to the forum and micras in general,
The one i have is a 1L 2002 K11 facelift model,
It seems to have been taken care of mechanically wise but im noticing a few odd bits that need looking into and just thought i'd ask around for advice before i go in all guns blazing;

- Noisy vibrating noise under car (presuming the heat guard above the exhaust)
- Clunky noise under car when selecting gears (possibly some sort of guard plate loose?)
- Rubber window seal at the rear...

This is my first post - I am the new owner of L139 NBW / 'Mark's 1.0L' : https://www.micra.org.uk/threads/marks-1-0l.43078/
It's not in great shape right now, between me and Mark, someone has stripped the rear interior, fitted a Fury Autoworx rear brace, fitted two STI bucket seats, all sorts of small modifications to the interior - and in general it's a lot less clean.
Currently it's not got an MOT because it's failing emissions and on an overhaul of the exhaust/fuel...

Hi Guys,I have been reading through the 'how to change cv joint' posts and from what I can gather the joint is easier to get off in the vice so popping whole shaft out of gearbox is the way to go? should it just pull out? If I jack the passenger side high enough will it be ok and not lose gearbox oil,mine is the later (51 plate) facelift edition so again from reading posts is easy enough to refil gearbox if I do lose any oil,finally,when knocking cv off shaft will it damage the end clip?
