So basically the weather has been to rotten lately I havent had a chance to look, but what I want to know is does my 2002 coilpack have a second silencer/cat that is removable without chopping it out? Ideally I'd like to replace it with a straight through bolt in pipe if such a thing exists?

Alternator tear down / repair help
As I can't do anything else because I'm waiting for parts I decided to start stripping the alternator down so I could paint the case and also because I like to learn how these things work.
First thing I've noticed is the brushes are below the 10mm threshold mentioned in Haynes so need replacing. Anybody know which ones I would need to buy to replace, or if I could just replace that whole unit where I'd source that?
Second thing is I can't get the plastic piece to move on the top (bit below...

Exhaust options
I'm wondering about my best exhaust options.
The 1,3 engine has a 1mm head skim, larger airbox, modded throttle body and a custom exhaust mani.
I want to keep the 1st cat to keep it legal etc.
Is it worth spending money on a posh cat back exhaust or should I just decat the 2nd cat on the standard exhaust?

Cg10 cg13 timing values/map
Hi everyone.
Been having some trouble with the way my micra runs on the oem ecu and sr20 Tb setup.
I have started to fit the ms2 I've had for a million years.
There was once a thread with the maps out of the stock ecus, as a comparison.
The pictures are now dead links, does anyone have these pics?
Does anyone have any sort of ignition map I can work with for my cg13.
Has anyone any info on the trigger wheel decoder for ms2 and stock dizzy?
I'm running wasted spark with an mx5 coil, but...

Hi I have done a ga16 Micra and its running sweet. My only problem is my rev gauge doesnt work can any one help me with the wiring, what wires need to be swapped on the dizzy

Help with panhard rod
was doing a once over on my micra other day and noticed ive bent my panhard rod to a unrepairable state.
looked on ebay and the only one i could find its fully adjustable and all singing all dancing. as its pretty starnderd i dont really want to spend the money on it , so i kept on lookin and the same bloke has this one for sale...

Super S manual rack question
I need a new rack after a little accident, but looking on Nissan parts there are apparently 2 manual racks for the pre face k11. One for models fitted with wider tyres and one standard. I'm gonna buy second hand off eBay, so does it matter which I fit?

What maufacture .... maf & lambda
I find it unlikely that everyone sticks to genuine Nissan parts these days, but I could easily be wrong. I am wondering what make / suppliers offer reliable maf and lambda sensors at a good price. Its likely that I'm going to need one if not all of these items. Its for a 1.4 facelift if that makes any difference.

im looking at the Humphries site for the Janspeed Cat-back exhaust.
I'm wanting a complete system that connects to the existing 1st cat through to the back box (without the 2nd cat.)

Hi people,
Apologies for my first post being a request for help/advice.
Trying to help a mate out who's wifes car is stuck on a grass verge after dying on Saturday.
Long story short, she stopped at lights, car cut out and has refused to start since. Plenty of life in battery, engine turning over, fuel pump priming etc, but no spark ?
I understand the K11's suffered with distributor/coil failiure so i'm guessing thats where the problems is.
I've had dizzy off and checked that everything is...

Central locking playing up.
I seem to have a peculiar problem with one of my key fobs. Both needed new switches and batteries so got that sorted. Now one works fine and the other unlocks tbe doors but they immediately lock again, a similar thing happens when trying to lock it. Neither worked when I got the car so im getting somewhere, but would like both of them to work.

Really bad FC - 8km/l or 18mpg at best
Hello folks, after selling my first car (a K11 5DR CG10 Auto) in 2008, I told myself I will buy one again if I had some extra cash. 5+ years later, I finally got myself an old Micra K11 (Automatic, 5 door) that had the engine swapped from a CG10 to a CG13 BUT my fuel economy is terrible @ under 8km/l. Admittedly mostly city driving, but it is doing worse than my 2.5L BMW at much lower average speeds!
I have searched extensively and many suggested swapping the O2 sensor, but I'm worried there...

Nissan K11 gearbox
Ok I have a cg10de and I got the gearbox from an n15 pulsar. The cg10de clutch doesnt fit around the shaft. Is the inside of the cg13de bigger than the 10 ? And will the clutch just fit into the pressure plate ? Or do i have to replace the flywheel with clutch assembly ?

Hi all.
I know what you're thinking...another post about fitting SR clocks to a Micra. However this isn't that! Just a quick question really...how much wire do you need to wire it up in length. I can get hold of 1m electrical wire...would that be enough?

Hi all, I own a pre-facelift micra still with its original dashboard. Lately I found that a facelift micra is being sold for parts at a bargain price and I intend to replace the dashboard. Does the facelift dashboard fits in a pre-facelift micra?
