Mitsuoka Viewt K11 swap engine.

Hi All,
I have a Mitsuoka Viewt year 1996. It's using a K11 nissan mirca or march sedan chassis. My viewer K11 were 1.3 cvt. My car was over heat and I am thinking to swap to a bigger cc engine such as 1.5 or 1.6 with auto or cvt engine. Please give me advice and I just hope that the engine can just fit right in without any modification because Malaysia government will not approve if any body cut or welding on chassis. Please advice me. I am not familiar with modified. Will really appreciate...

My k11 is doing about 32mpg which is crap considering she's meant to be doing about 47mpg now I do realise age has a factor but is it really that bad. Is there anything I can do to her to get the mpgs back up I know my way around an engine but without a little of a hint tips I'm not sure where I should start to get this numbers higher.

Spark plugs.
Filters fuel
Oil filter
Oil
Mass airflow


What else could be a factor that could be causing the bad mpg.
If I rape her she gives me about...

As titled, cg10 pre facelift how do i remove the oil stem seal out of the head ?

Hi ... im new to here
Forgive me I'm not mechanically minded
I'm building an engine which has to be 1000cc k11 distributer block and head
Im just sorting all the parts out before I start building
Planning on having it overbored to 72.5 which are the best off the shelf pistons use... Been told Vauxhall or suzuki
I know I need to deck the block but how does that affect the chain
I have to run a standard cam but which 1 would be best the 1.3 or1.4 modified to fit dizzy...

Its for oval racing...

K10 CG10DE non-start

Hi all,

I've spent the past few couple of months swapping a CG10DE into my K10 (the original MA10 was coming to the end of its life) - all is nearly complete except I can't seem to get it to fire up. I'm running out of ideas and could do with some help!

A little info:

Car is 1988 1.0 K10 Micra UK spec.

Engine is 1997 CG10DE originally coupled with an auto box, but now hooked up to the manual from the K10. Engine is on about 60k and was in good health when removed from car.

Heater Temp Control Knob Slips

How can I fix the above problem, as heater is stuck in cold mode and the temp. control won't turn on the heat! (The heating system doesn't have air-con).

Hi everyone got a hold of an Almera air box and there is a little chamber above the intake on the lid does this make it quieter if so can I remove it ?

I've got a coil pack 1.0 and want to get a 1.3/4 swap and turbo, I know the 1.4 is more prone to piston problems, I've seen that a 1.0 head and pistons hold up better, what would be the best option of going about this?

1.3 engine with 1.0 gearbox - clutch slip

Howdy.
So I've bought one Micra K11 CVT with 1.0 engine for my wife and soon the gearbox died.
I loved how it drove so I decided to get a second Micra, 1.0, with a manual gearbox for obvious reasons.
Not that long after that I found a bargain 1.3 Micra so I decided to get that one as well and swap the engine in the CVT one.
I also read that 1.o gearbox is shorter and the driveshafts weigh less so I decided to:

Put 1.3 engine with 1.o flywheel, 1.o pressure plate, 1.o clutch, 1.o driveshafts...

Has anyone ran a 1.3 (CG13) with a 1.0 (CG10) gear box?

I know the lower end will be quicker acceleration and i know that the top end is pants. Just an idea im considering :p

So I’ve recently bought a 2nd facelift 1.4S and the gearing is way too long, I have a 1.0 gearbox from a 1st facelift dizzy model and want to know wether it’ll fit? Or what I’ll need to change to make it fit?

NATS1 Bypassing Problems

It's been a while since I've posted asking for technical help!
Right, I've set about removing the alarm and bypassing the NATS System in the Super S today, Removed the alarm okay but I'm having issues working out how to bypass the NATS.
Its NATS1 (The Lucas system with the Rover Type 2 Button Fobs) with this type of box:

I have 10 Wires coming out of the box which are:
White & Green
Black
Blue & White
Green & Black - Goes to the LED indicator
Black
Red
Red...

1. Is it mapable?
2.Can you put a Nistune in it?
3.If not what is the best option to move forward with mapping? Replacement ECU - If so, what one? Rough Price

CG10 TO CGA3

I have a Nissan March K11 1992, Manual car.

I need to convert my existing CG10 (998CC) Engine to CGA3 (1348CC) OR CG13 (1275CC) Engine with an AUTO CVT gearbox.

I HAVE ALL COMPLETE CG10 CVT WIRE HARNESS AND ECU (YEAR 2000)

MY ISSUE IS THAT IF I FIX A CG13 OR CGA3 ENGINE AND CVT GEARBOX WITH THAT WIRE HARNESS I MENTIONED ABOVE.

WILL IT BE A PROBLEM ?

OR DO I NEED TO CHANGE THE ECU AND WIRE HARNESS ?

Lowering Springs - Did I Screw Up??

So I decided to install some lowering springs but they didn't come with any information and there was no indicator of which were the front or rear springs. Taking to Google, I found nothing under the part codes either. I then consulted my wonderful Father who has been pulling apart cars since he emerged from the womb. On his advice, I then installed them.

However

My Dad's sight isn't what it used to be and when I was installing them, I became suspicious based on the relative sizes of the...

I know you can get some nice high lift cams but I was wondering if the 1.6 cam's from the almera would fit the micra engine. I have also been wondering about the mgf manifold as it's alot cheaper than anything that's designed for the k11 micras. Any help is appreciated thanks
